TeAmour Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026 · Applies to the TeAmour mobile app for iOS and Android

TeAmour ("the App") is owned and operated by HOK Invest LLC ("we", "us"). TeAmour is a matchmaking app where a candidate builds a team of friends who help them find a match. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the App and to invitation links and pages we operate for it.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts list, or browsing history, and the App contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

2. How your information is shared

TeAmour is social by design, so some sharing is inherent to using it:

With your team: your profile, messages, and activity are visible to members of the team you join (up to 10 people).
With matches: a profile created for or by a match can be shared with the team, and candidates' profiles may be shown to invited matches.
Service providers: we use Google Firebase (authentication, push notifications) and Supabase (database, authentication, hosting of app data). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
AI provider (with your permission): if you enable AI features, certain data is shared with Anthropic, PBC as described in Section 3 below. AI features are off until you give permission in the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

3. AI-powered features

Some TeAmour features (such as the Dating Agent) are powered by Claude, an artificial-intelligence service provided by Anthropic, PBC.

What is shared: when you enable AI features, we share your first name, age, pronouns, profile details and preferences recorded by your team, and recent team chat messages with Anthropic to generate suggestions and summaries. Before anything is sent, we automatically remove contact details such as email addresses, phone numbers, and street addresses. We never share your contact information, photos, or account credentials with Anthropic.
Your permission comes first: no data is shared with Anthropic until you explicitly agree in the App's permission dialog. If you decline, all features remain available with standard, non-AI content.
Changing your mind: you can turn AI data sharing on or off at any time in Settings → AI data sharing. Once turned off, no further data is shared.
How Anthropic handles it: Anthropic processes this data solely to provide the feature on our behalf, is bound by data-protection commitments equivalent to this policy, and does not use your data to train its AI models.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, photos, messages, and associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

5. Deleting your account and your rights

You can delete your account from Settings → Account in the App. You may also request deletion without the app via our account deletion form, or ask us to access, correct, or export your personal data via the contact form on our website. We respond to all requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights, which we honor.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored with access controls by our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

7. Age requirement

TeAmour is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Push notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications about team activity, invitations, and matches. You can turn these off in the App's settings or your device settings at any time.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
